Ich hoffe, ihr habt bisher fantastische Ostern und könnt dieses traumhafte Wetter genießen? Für den Hubby und mich sind die Tage etwas ganz besonderes, denn gestern war für uns nicht nur Ostersonntag, sondern auch unser erster Hochzeitstag!!! :-)
Zur Feier dieser schönen Zeit habe ich heute ein farbenfrohes Colorblocking Outfit im Petto mit einem Statement Shirt in Rosa-Rot.

Das süße rosa T-Shirt mit rotem “Power Ranger” Print habe ich im Vorbeilaufen bei TK Maxx entdeckt und mich direkt verliebt. Ich mag die auffällige Farbkombi – die in den Augen fast ein bisschen brennt, aber eben nur fast – und den Druck sowieso. Besonders sweet finde ich die Rose, die das “O” ersetzt. Accessoires und Lippenstift greifen das knallige Rot perfekt auf, sodass ein schönes, harmonisches Bild der beiden sonst schnell konkurrierenden Töne entsteht.

Bei diesem rosaroten Frühlingslook war klar, dass es in eine ebenso frühlingshafte Location gehört. Zack, stand ich schon unter einem noch gerade so blühenden Magnolienbaum. Die Kirschen waren zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nicht so weit… ;-)

Ostern, Geburtstag und Hochzeitstag

Unser Wochenende war/ist recht vollgepackt – aber mit schönen “Terminen”. Am Freitag war ich bei meiner Besten und ihren Kids zum Ostereierfärben. Das war super schön und mein Patenkind – inzwischen drei Jahre alt – konnte dieses Jahr schon wunderbar mithelfen. Vor allem konnte er genaue Instruktionen geben, wie lange welchen Ei in welcher Farbe liegen muss. :-D

In der Nacht auf Samstag besuchte mich dann leider mal wieder die Migräne und blieb das Wochenende. Ich konnte sie aber recht gut im Zaum dieses Mal. Denn Samstagabend stand die großartige Geburtstagsparty eines lieben Freundes auf dem Programm. Der Hubby und ich haben in der Nacht aber wie gesagt nicht nur in den Geburtstag reingefeiert, sondern auch in unseren 1. Hochzeitstag! Dieser selbst verlief dadurch, dass Ostern ist etwas anders, als wir ihn sonst geplant hätten. Aber dennoch sehr, sehr schön! Da meine Großeltern zu Besuch sind, waren wir ab dem späten Mittag bei meinen Eltern. Wir haben lecker gegessen und uns an den schönen Tag vor einem Jahr erinnert.

Zuvor waren wir an der Stelle Fotos machen, an der wir vor einem Jahr unsere Hochzeitsfotos gemacht haben. Wieder schien die Sonne von einem strahlend blauen Himmel bei frühsommerlichen Temperaturen. Und wieder zeigten sich die Kirschbäume in ihrer schönsten Blütenpracht… Einfach magisch! Am liebsten hätte ich mein Brautkleid angezogen und alles noch einmal erlebt.

Den Abend hatten wir dann aber ganz für uns. Wir haben unsere Hochzeitstorte, deren Reste wir vor einem Jahr eingefroren hatten, verspeist und ein Gläschen Champagner getrunken. Kommenden Samstag gehen wir dann nochmal in unser Lieblings- und Hochzeitsrestaurant und lassen uns verwöhnen…

To celebrate this I have today a bright colorblocking outfit in petto with a statement shirt in pink-red.

Colorblocking: Statement Shirt in Pink-Red

I discovered the cute pink t-shirt with the red “Power Ranger” print while passing TK Maxx and fell in love directly. I like the eye-catching color combination – which almost burns in the eyes, but only almost – and the print anyway. Especially sweet is the rose that replaces the “O”. Accessories and lipstick pick up the bright red perfectly, so that a beautiful, harmonious picture of the two otherwise quickly competing tones emerges.

With this pink spring look, it was clear that it belongs in an equally spring-like location. So, I was already standing under a magnolia tree that was still in bloom. The cherry trees were not so far at this time yet… ;-)

Easter, birthday and wedding day

Our weekend was/is quite packed – but with nice “appointments”. On Friday I was with my best and their kids to dye Easter eggs. That was super beautiful and my godchild – now three years old – was able to help a lot this year and above all to give precise instructions how long which egg has to lie in which color. :-D

During the night on Saturday I was unfortunately visited by migraines again, but this time I was able to keep them under control. Because Saturday evening was the great birthday party of a dear friend on the schedule. The Hubby and I did not only celebrate this birthday during the night, but also our 1st wedding anniversary! The day itself went by a bit different than we would have planned it otherwise because of Easter. But nevertheless very nice! Since my grandparents are on visit, we were with my parents from late noon on and ate tasty food and remembered the beautiful day a year ago.

Before we were at the place where we took our wedding photos a year ago. Again the sun was shining from a bright blue sky with early summer temperatures. And again the cherry trees showed themselves in their most beautiful flower splendour… Simply magical! I would have loved to put on my wedding dress and experienced everything again.

But then we had the evening all to ourselves and ate our wedding cake, the remains of which we had frozen a year ago, and drank a glass of champagne. Next Saturday we go back to our favorite and wedding restaurant and let ourselves be pampered…
