Immer zu Beginn des Jahres veröffentlicht das Farbinstitut Pantone eine neue Farbe des Jahres. Nach dem knalligen Greenery (2017) und verträumten Ultra Violet (2018) ist die Color of the Year 2019 das anregende und warme Living Coral!

Für mich nach den letzten Jahren wirklich mal wieder ein Highlight. Warum? Nun, Koralltöne schmeicheln fast jedem Haut- und Haarton. Das Orange mit goldenem Unterton lässt den Teint direkt mehr strahlen und gehört für mich ohnehin seit Jahren zu meiner Frühjahrs- und Sommergarderobe.

Living Coral – Lebendig und belebend

Living Coral fällt auf, ist lebendig und sorgt einfach für gut Laune. So sieht es auch Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director des Pantone Color Institute:

Farbe ist die ausgleichende Linse, durch die wir die natürliche und digitale Realität wahrnehmen. Dies gilt insbesondere für Living Coral. Was sagt ihr zur neuen Farbe des Jahres? Stimmt sie euch auch so fröhlich wie mich, oder ist sie euch vielleicht zu auffällig? Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall schon jetzt darauf, ein paar neue Teile zu shoppen in den nächsten Monaten. Denn, anders als bei Greenery und Ultra Violet, die schon sehr speziell waren, glaube ich, dass Living Coral weit mehr aufgegriffen werden wird von den Modehäusern und Ketten.

The Pantone Color Institute always publishes a new color of the year at the beginning of the year. After the bright Greenery (2017) and dreamy Ultra Violet (2018) the Color of the Year 2019 is the stimulating and warm Living Coral!

For me it’s really a highlight after the last years. Why? Well, coral tones flatter almost every skin and hair tone. The orange with a golden undertone makes the complexion shine more directly and has been part of my spring and summer wardrobe for years anyway.
